When we first heard about the work Brian Phillips and his team at worldSALON were doing to promote energy conservation, sustainable living and organic ingredients to their clientele and their business operations, we knew we had to get them on board to transform three girls in desperate need of a night out. Brian, who is hands-down one of Toronto’s top celeb stylists, first opened his doors (still at the original Adelaide Street East location), 20 years ago.

Over the past eight years, worldSALON has been able to reduce its power consumption by 50 percent and is the first and only salon in Canada to use solar thermal technology to heat its water. We were eager to get together for an all-natural makeover, searching for the perfect girls deserving of a night out! After putting out a call to all Viva subscribers (we’ve said it before: get on the list!), we rounded up three ladies who needed to unwind: an on-the-go powerhouse, a young mom with loads of energy and a mom-to-be who was ready to have fun for two.
