Ingrediants
1 fresh fillet black cod
3tbsp (45ml) mixed nuts (hazelnuts and almonds recommended)
3tbsp (45ml) lavender honey
1tsp (5ml) butter
dash of cinnamon
dash of ginger
dash of cloves
pinch of freshly ground black pepper
pinch of chilies (freshly minced)
Instructions
1. Turn on the grill to high heat and slightly grill the fillet for about 4 minutes (2 minutes per side, depending on thickness).
2. While grilling, carefully toast the nuts in the pan. Melt the butter and add the spices. Add the nuts and 2/3 of the honey. Bring it to a gentle simmer over low heat and remove.
3. Serve as desired with veggies and rice. Drizzle with the remaining honey.
