Help Haiti
On January 12, 2010, Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince, was struck with a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in an area with an estimated 1.8 million residents. This country has never experienced a natural disaster of this magnitude. Due to social and economic conditions in the territory, Haitian citizens need our help.
Canadians attempting to contact family members or friends in Haiti can call the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade emergency operation centre at 1-800-387-3124 or via email at sos@international.gc.ca.

Maranatha Orphanage
Maranatha Children’s Home was established with the goal of giving Haiti's children the love, respect and attention they deserve and need. Our philosophy has been to take in only the number of children that we can fully care for. Their spiritual, physical, and educational needs are all fully met during their time with us.

Yéle Haiti
Through Yéle Haiti, Wyclef uses music, sports and the media to reinforce projects that are making a difference in education, health, environment and community development. In practical terms this translates to over 3,000 new jobs, close to 7,000 children being put in school, more than 8,000 people a month receiving food and approximately 2,000 young people a month learning about HIV/AIDS prevention.
