Going, Going, Gone!

 

Summerís here, which means itís time to get out and enjoy all the great activities that come with it. While youíre out there celebrating all that sunshine, donít forget to keep a host of healthy snacks on hand to keep your energy up, stay hydrated, and make sure to protect your skin (especially when things get really hot!)

 

Hydrate Yourself
Bring a water bottle wherever you go and fill it as often as you can, sipping throughout the day. For a great source of electrolytes (chemicals like salts and minerals needed for various functions in the body), and potassium (crucial for brain and nerve function) try some coconut water.
