The real estate game is always alive in Los Angeles. Robert Pattinson just sold his 1922 Los Feliz house to Jim Parsons for $6.38 million. Parsons, a multi-Emmy winner for his role on The Big Bang Theory will have plenty of room for his statues.

In one of the final scenes in the film Lost in Translation, Bill Murray whispers something into Scarlett Johansson’s ear. A fan recently asked the actor what he whispered so many years ago and Murray replied: “You know? I forget.”

At the recent Screen Actors Guild Awards, Best Supporting Actress favourite Jennifer Lawrence was upended by newcomer Lupita Nyong’o for her role in 12 Years a Slave. The Kenyan actress said, “My dad was the first person I called when I got this role, and I said, ‘Daddy, do you know (co-star) Brad Pitt?’ And he said, ‘I don’t know him personally, but I’m glad you got a job.’ Brad Pitt was at the SAG Awards with a new half-shaved ‘do, about which he said, “It’s not a choice; it’s for a new role.”

Christina Ricci stuffed her petite five-foot-tall body into a small fridge and then took a photo of herself, which she put on Instagram. It seems Ricci started a trend, because Kelly Ripa tried it and showed her selfie on her talk show.

You too can look as beautiful as Mila Kunis did at the Golden Globes this year. That is, if you have $20,000 hanging around. Mila wanted to look her very best and paid a lot of money to remove facial puffiness before the awards show and parties. She is said to have spent $7,000 for a diamond and ruby facial peel, $10,000 on laser resurfacing plus a body treatment the day before. It sure paid off though. Mila looked simply gorgeous.

Anyone who has attended the Sundance Film Festival knows it’s not NYC when you need a cab. So it came as no surprise for bystanders to see filmmaker Rory Kennedy, daughter of Bobby, trying to hitchhike on Main Street around midnight after leaving a dinner attended by Cheryl Hines and Natasha Bedingfield. They were all celebrating Rory’s documentary Last Days in Vietnam, which premiered the prior night.
