Tea Time Sangria

Sangria is one of Spain’s most popular cocktails and it’s become a summertime classic. This recipe is inspired by mixologists Marc-André Fillion and Lawrence Picard and it features Four O’Clock Fruit Sangria Herbal Tea. The tea gives the drink a nice reddish tint and a touch of tartness.

INGREDIENTS

90 ml (3 oz.) or red wine
60 ml (2 oz.) of cranberry juice
90 ml (3 oz.) of Four O’Clock® Fruit Sangria Herbal Tea 15 ml (1 tbsp.) of sugar (optional)
Ice cubes

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS

Pour 250 mL (one cup) of boiling water over two Four O’Clock® Fruit Sangria Herbal Tea bags, and let steep for 5 minutes. Put aside 90 mL (3 oz) of Four O’Clock® Fruit Sangria Herbal Tea.

PREPARATION

Fill your glass with ice cubes. Add all ingredients to glass and stir. Garnish with an orange and lemon wedge, cherry, strawberry and and a hint of nutmeg.
