Ever want to wear your new jeans but they’re too long and no time to hem them?  Well, Melissa George – ex-Grey’s Anatomy and Alias – has come up with an instant way to shorten those pants in minutes.  It’s called HemmingMyWay, which is an adhesive snap hem that lets you adjust the length on pants and jeans.  Mandy Moore is in love with this new invention, Tweeting:  “It’s brilliant!”

Planning on a vacation?  You might want to skip visiting Shutter Island unless you are going to see Martin Scorsese’s latest suspense-filled thriller of the same name, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.  At the U.S. premiere for “Shutter Island” held at the Ziegfeld Theatre, Scorsese informed the audience that he had a large number of people to thank, which he did.  Attending the premiere and festivities were stars DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo, Patricia Clarkson, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams and Emily Mortimer, plus producer Mick Jagger and guests Miro Sorvino, Steve Buscemi and “Sopranos” creator David Chase.

A week earlier, the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York held the premiere for John Travolta’s movie, “From Paris With Love.”  Along with his wife, Kelly Preston, and co-star Jonathan Rhys Meyers, guests included Nikki Blonsky, John Waters, Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness and Kathleen Turner.  On being bald for the role, Travolta said:  “It was great.  You know, they put a picture of me online with no hair, and something like 99% of people approved of me being bald.  Hey, I’m glad I got to do it.  Most people get nervous about losing their hair; and I’m like, ‘Hey, this is going to be a good thing.’  I’ve already accepted it.”

Peace pendants have been appearing on the loveliest of necklines lately and have been worn with various outfits.  Cindy Crawford wore a dainty peace charm with her biker chick leather jacket, while Christie Brinkley combined a short peace pendant with a longer beaded chain creating a “hippie” look.  Heather Graham wore a large, yet delicate peace symbol complementing the gold hoops on her teal blue dress and Nancy O’Dell chose a heart-shaped peace sign to compliment her expensive teardrop earrings and spaghetti strapped silver dress.

Jennifer Love Hewitt says her 30s have been very good to her.  She stars on the top-rated drama “The Ghost Whisperer” and has been romantically linked to her costar Jamie Kennedy.  “So far the 30s have been about learning to love my butt.  I’ve finally gotten smart enough to realize it’s not going anywhere and it’s not going to get any smaller.”  So if she indulges in her favourite cheeseburger, “I have to work out harder for a few days, but what does it really matter?  The cheese was worth it!”

Want a floral arrangement before you go to sleep every night?  Then try Enessa’s Facial Nourishment Geranium on your face like Cher, Jamie Pressley and Carmen Electra do.  The geranium essential oil moisturizes and nourishes dry facial skin but it also regenerates and rejuvenates the skin.  So that’s how these Hollywood gals look great all the time.  “I put this oil on every time I wash my face and also first thing in the morning, before applying makeup and again before bed time”, says Electra.  “I use it religiously.”  The nice part besides the packaging in a cobalt blue glass bottle is the product is 98% certified organic with no preservatives.

Want to have Mick Jagger and Keith Richards as neighbors?  Fellow Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood has listed his five-bedroom, 300-year-old mansion in the upscale Chelsea area of London for a reduced rate.  He needs to sell it really quick to cover his costly divorce settlement from ex Jo Wood.

Did you know…..
Alyssa Milano picks up Carmex lip balm whenever she’s in a drugstore checking out.  Emily Blunt uses 2nd Skin Moist Burn Pads to get rid of her morning puffy eyes.  Drew Barrymore says her style depends on her mood when she wakes up – is she feeling retro 60s or hippie-chick 70s?  Formerly of “Desperate Housewives,” Nicollette Sheridan has just been cast as the lead in a CBS comedy-pilot, while other “Housewives” news has Neal McDonough cast in ABC’s “Scoundrels” opposite Virginia Madsen.
